Toronto’s Christmas bar season kicks off on November 20, 2026, when the city’s favourite holiday pop-up, Miracle, returns at two locations. Expect over-the-top decorations, festive cocktails in collectible glassware, Santa appearances and, new this year, a heated waterfront patio.

Miracle Toronto 2026

Miracle on Bloor Miracle on Harbourfront
Address Third Place, 875 Bloor Street West Boxcar Social, 235 Queens Quay West
Dates November 20 – December 28, 2026 November 20, 2026 – January 1, 2027
Ages 19+ All ages
Highlights Friday DJs, Saturday drag brunch, Santa visits Heated patio, Brunch with Santa, carolling, dog-friendly

Reservations open on November 2, 2026 at miracletoronto.com. Both locations also take walk-ins. A reservation includes a photo ornament and popcorn.

Miracle on Bloor

The adults-only location at Third Place on Bloor Street West serves themed cocktails and alcohol-free drinks with a food menu from Fat Rice (savoury pies, sausage rolls and cookies). Friday nights have DJs and Saturdays bring a drag brunch.

Miracle on Harbourfront

The all-ages location at Boxcar Social sits beside Harbourfront Centre’s outdoor rink and opens the same day as Harbourfront’s tree lighting. New for 2026 is a heated outdoor patio with fire pits, Christmas decor and dog beds. Kids get free s’mores kits, there’s an expanded Brunch with Santa and, on selected dates, dogs can have their photos taken with Santa in support of the Toronto Humane Society. It pairs perfectly with a skate at the Natrel Rink.

What to drink

Returning favourites include the Christmapolitan, mulled wine and the Snowball Old-Fashioned, plus alcohol-free options and, for the first time, standard bar rail drinks. $1 from every drink at both locations goes to Nellie’s, a Toronto organization that supports women and children. You can even mail a letter to Santa through a Canada Post partnership. More on letters to Santa

Which Miracle location is right for you?

  • Choose Miracle on Bloor for a grown-up night out with friends, DJs on Fridays and a lively, packed bar.
  • Choose Miracle on Harbourfront if you’re bringing kids or your dog, want a weekend brunch with Santa, or like the idea of sipping a festive drink on a heated patio by the lake.

Festive cocktails to look for

Christmas pop-up menus usually lean on warming spices, chocolate and mint, with plenty of non-alcoholic options. Expect versions of:

  • Spiked hot chocolate and peppermint drinks
  • Eggnog-style cocktails and nutmeg-dusted classics
  • Mulled wine and hot cider
  • Gingerbread and cinnamon flavours in everything
  • Zero-proof “mocktail” versions of the signature drinks

Collectible glassware is part of the fun; check whether glasses are for sale before you slip one into your bag.

More festive bars in Toronto

Beyond Miracle, many Toronto bars and hotel lounges dress up for the season with themed decor and holiday menus, and some restaurants set up heated igloos and domes. See igloo and dome dining and a Christmas night out in Toronto.

When to go

  • Weeknights are the easiest time to walk in without a long wait.
  • Fridays and Saturdays in December are the busiest; book a reservation if you can.
  • The week between Christmas and New Year’s is a fun, relaxed time to go, before the Bloor location closes on December 28.

Christmas pop-up bars: FAQ

Do I need a reservation for Miracle Toronto? Not necessarily: both locations take walk-ins, but reservations are recommended on weekends. Reservations open November 2, 2026.

Can kids go to Miracle? Miracle on Harbourfront is all ages. Miracle on Bloor is 19+.

Is there a dress code? No formal dress code. Christmas sweaters, Santa hats and festive outfits are encouraged.

Tips

  • Go on a weeknight if you’re walking in.
  • Bring the kids or the dog to the Harbourfront location; Bloor is 19+.
