Bloor-Yorkville is Toronto’s most polished Christmas neighbourhood: designer storefronts wrapped in lights, luxury hotels with grand trees, holiday afternoon teas and cozy restaurants on Victorian side streets. It’s the perfect area for a festive stroll, a date night or a splurge.

Bloor-Yorkville Holiday Magic 2026

Saturday, November 21, 2026 · 5 – 7 p.m. · Village of Yorkville Park (Cumberland and Bellair streets) · Free

The neighbourhood’s official lighting ceremony switches on Yorkville’s holiday lights with a free concert by Canadian jazz singer Molly Johnson, hosted by TV personality Melissa Grelo, with the Rosedale Day School Choir. The event supports The Common Table. It’s the night before the Santa Claus Parade, so it’s a lovely start to parade weekend. Look out for the area’s Candy Cane Carolers through the season.
